    We have pinpointed the very best furnishings, art and appliances to enrich every moment at Ukiyo House; Japanese ceramics, Italian kitchenware, vintage Danish furniture, Indian antiques and Australian Artwork—every corner of the globe has been scoured to make Ukiyo House the perfect place to recharge the body and soul.

    Accommodating up to 5 guests, this is ideal for a family or friends getaway.

    The bedrooms are set up with the following configurations:

    Bedroom 1 is the main with a luxurious king bed and built-in robe

    Bedroom 2 features a queen bed and a single bed and built-in robe

    A newly terrazzo tiled bathroom, with a deep bath to set you right into relaxation mode. Luxurious shower and separate toilet.

    There are several living areas to choose from ~ inside living area with fireplace and ultra comfort in the leather and fabric couches sure to seat all your guests. Inside dining area is next to the fully equipped kitchen all ready stocked with basic condiments. With premium appliances, dishwasher and microwave, plus tea and coffee making facilities and no shortage of crockery, glassware, bowls and serving platters.

    There is even a servery from the kitchen window with an outdoor bench over looking the outdoor patio. Enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast while you hear the waves crashing on the shore. The patio is equipped with outdoor table and BBQ for the endless Summer days and nights ahead. There is plenty of room to relax out on the lawn in the fully fenced and secure garden.

    With all your bed linen, pillows, toiletries and towels provided, nothing has been overlooked. Beach essentials all provided. Air-conditioning and fans in each room for your comfort. Offering a washing machine/ dryer, free WI-FI throughout, TV in the family room together with off-street parking for several vehicles.

    We also have infant and toddler needs covered - portable cot, high chair and toys available upon request.

    We offer a min 2 night stay, however not during peak periods so please check the min length of stay during these times.

The downstairs has a living area at the front of the house and also the back, perfect for a quiet retreat. The whole of the upstairs living area offer magnificent ocean views, from the kitchen, the dining table, the lounge space and of course the balcony.

    The space

    Welcome to Pink Door, a fully renovated, coastal home in Port Willunga, only a 40 minute drive south, from Adelaide.

    Designed around retaining and restoring original fittings and features (where possible), our aim was to create a unique home where guests have everything on hand, for an easy, relaxing stay. Luxurious bed linens, comfortable beds, books, games, WiFi, beautiful cutlery and crockery and quality kitchen appliances.

    Guests have the option of two brand new bathrooms, both with gorgeous Australian made, Robert Gordon ceramic lighting and handmade basins, toilet and separate showers. The spacious main bathroom in soft pinks and greens and the second bathroom with exquistie, screen printed tiles.

    The home blends soothing, soft tones, carefully selected to balance the mid-century modern colour palette’s bright, bold colours, throughout the different spaces. While also offering all the comforts of contemporary amenities.

    Window furnishings made from Marimekko and William Morris fabrics, sheers and plantation shutters, bring together classic, contemporary and mid-century modern, to create a beautiful home. Rugs are from Emro Designs - ‘Calming Waters’ by Bundjalung artist Christine Slabb.

    Throughout the home, light fittings are a mix of original retro pieces, ceramic, hand blown glass and modern.

    We have aimed to create a special space, reflecting our commitment to repurpose, recycle and reuse, wherever possible. High quality, Australian made, ‘eco friendly’ products include, washing liquid, loo paper, locally sourced shampoo and handwash. Our garden is still young but it has been planted out with fruit trees, a herb garden and plants selected to attract pollinators.

    We offer our guests the use of our reusable Robert Gordon ceramic coffee cups for you to enjoy your local coffee purchases in - but we ask you don’t take them home with you!

    The kitchen has an induction cooktop, electric oven, premium Smeg appliances, Smeg coffee machine with freshly ground coffee provided, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and a generous selection of quality cooking equipment. A fabulous mix of vintage, Marimekko, Robert Gordon and modern crockery, glasses and cutlery.

    The living and dining areas blends beautiful mid-century pieces, comfortable chairs, books, smart TV, connected to the free WiFi.

    Outside, you’ll find a large undercover, newly decked outdoor space with a dining area, Heston Blumenthal BBQ and expansive back lawn, children’s play equipment and games. Everything you need for the perfect getaway!

    Our home has been set up to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, over 3 bedrooms - one king size bed, one queen size bed and one double bed. All beds are high quality ensembles, made up with beautiful, luxury linens. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, with split system heating and cooling throughout the house. The combustible fire in the living area is not in use.

    Pink Door at Port Willunga is strictly NO smoking/vaping.

    Strictly no parties or group gatherings. We also request that noise be restricted by 10pm.

    Check in after 3pm, check out before 11am.
    6 guests maximum.

    Mid-century furniture to be cared for by using the provided placemats and coasters.

    Children must be supervised by an adult, when using play equipment. This play area is used at your own risk. Owner does not accept any responsibility for any injuries incurred from the use of this facility.

    House towels are not to be taken to the beach.

    Penalties apply for breaching any house rules.

    Guest access

    Guests have access to the entire property, apart from the locked shed. Private parking for two cars behind remote controlled gates, with more parking available on the street.

Open plan, fully equiped kitchen and living area with unique sand coloured concrete floors. The comfort of a combustion heater plus central heating ( and cooling) for Winter stays. Second living area/ kids retreat with second TV.

    The space

    The property is on two levels. It is the perfect retreat for families and friends. The house is set a street back from the esplanade and a 700metre walk to the Star of Greece.

    It has a large balcony with outdoor dining overlooking a lush green lawned backyard. All secure with Ample off street packing.

    The downstairs area has 2 rooms with 2 sets of bunk beds. Bathroom and laundry with a large living area with games for the children or adults to enjoy. Air hockey table and soccer table.

    There is a combustion heater downstairs that heats the house to keep you cosy during the Winter months.
